Today I wanted to create a short circuit that didn’t favor any particular type of athlete. The time domain was relatively short, just 9 minutes. It was long enough though, that the super strong, powerful athlete couldn’t shine because no one can hold it wide open for nine minutes. It was short enough that the cardio types couldn’t pace it like they would a 5k. The weight was light, anyone could move it, and the row/box jump combo favors no one. Big lanky folks dominate on the row, but when it’s time to add up the reps on the box, they’re just too heavy.
Having done the workout myself, I think it served its purpose pretty well. I hope you feel the same way.
