More pull-ups!?! You betcha. This week would should be a good learning experience about why proper maintenance of calluses is important. If you need to know more about how to maintenance those bad boys, read HERE.
Beyond calluses, learn to keep your hands dry by not putting them on sweaty parts of your body while working out. Find yourself resting your hands on your thighs? That spot is bound to be a bit damp, especially if we’re rowing. If you’re starting to rip and recognize it before it happens, reduce the amount of kipping you’re doing to minimize tension on those calluses.
Remember, even if you knock out 200 pull-ups in a week, that’s still a fraction of what a decent gymnast would be doing in a regular week.
