Notes: Tonight’s WOD was a challenge on the posterior chain. We spend a lot of time working the posterior and anterior chain. It’s arguable that this is one of THE most important elements of athletic development. We have been hitting the push-ups pretty hard this week too, don’t be surprised to see something on the strength side of horizontal pushing as well. This was one of those “power-endurance” WODs that hit the Central Nervous System pretty hard. Remember to do your recovery techniques so you can get back in the gym to keep pushing forward. For most of you, you will know that the CNS has been attacked when typing becomes really hard and slow, it’s a pretty good indicator and most of us type a lot.
Keep working hard guys, we are seeing great gains and I’m happy to watch every hit new PR’s on a regular basis!
Also, don’t forget about your food log. Keep paying attention to what you are eating and drinking. I have been hearing of people who feel guilty before/after eating garbage knowing that they have to write it down! GOOD! Feel the guilt! Start tying the cost to eating the food! Remember it’s as simple as building more powerful associations to the pain of eating garbage and the pleasure of meeting your goals when you eat good. Keep at it!
Don’t forget about our nutrition class this Saturday after the WOD, $20 for food and materials, invite everyone!
