Support Coach Max at Worlds–Hey guys! Our Coach qualified for the World Masters Weightlifting Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark… it’s pretty big deal! He will be flying out next Saturday. Many of you know and some of you don’t but aside from pushing all of us in the gym, Max has been seriously training and preparing himself for this and he’s worked his ass off… literally (I mean, you may have noticed he’s lookin’ pretty lean these days!) As a community, it’s our time to support someone who has been there for each of us day in and day out. You can do this a few ways:
1. Tell him you support him! Offer up your encouragement as he gets closer to his event.
2. Watch him live on Saturday, September 6th (details on time and links will come later).
3. Pre-order one of these sweet t-shirts for $30. The money will go towards Max’s registration fee, gear, travel expenses… and perhaps a beer when he’s done 😉
The Great Jacob Open–On September 21st, there will be a golf tournament in honor of Jacob to continue to raise funds to support his family. Click HERE to find out more info! And even if you aren’t a golfer, they are doing a helicopter ball drop, where you can purchase a golf ball for $10 and the ball dropped from the copter that gets closest to the hole will win $5,000… pretty cool.
