Yes, the euge… this is how I have decided to spell my shortened version of “usual”. Normally there would be the two little dots on top of the u and a slashy thing over the e, but I don’t know how to do that on my computer 😉 Ok, I took far too long explaining something that is really only funny to two people. That said, today is active recovery, and I did “the euge” recovery workout (rowing and Turkish get-ups)… which to some may not look like recovery. In all honesty though, I feel good when I do it. I know days off are important, and I take them (Sundays!), but I feel best when I move, especially the day before a competition or important workout. Tomorrow I am going to do the second Open workout… a 10 minute AMRAP of Snatches that get progressively heavier. My goal is to get as many darn snatches as I can, and have fun while doing it (of course)!
