The last of our Gamer crew wrapped up the 12.3 week this afternoon with some strong scores. The offer of a free months membership to whomever could best Alec’s score seemed to fire up the crew, though no one hit the mark. Session Notes – For Recovery, Go Outside
I wasn’t in the gym for the 9am session, but I got to witness the enjoyment of the 11am group hitting a workout in our parking lot today. How lucky are we for this 80 degree weather in March? Before we even unloaded the first truckload of equipment at this new space I knew that front wall and parking lot was going to be very useful when the weather is nice.
Speaking of getting outside, today Erica and I hiked a 5k loop down in El Moro. It was so great to get outside and experience what SoCal has to offer. I’d encourage all of you to spend a rest day hiking or riding. Rest can be active, too. Just don’t push too hard or the restorative nature of this day will be lost.
