I’m sure many of you reading this already know, but I found out yesterday morning that I got first place out of the intermediate women in the NLI competition series that I competed in this Fall/Winter. It is a big accomplishment for me and I’m am really excited about it! When I saw the results, I was pretty excited… lots of jumping around my house and yelling, “yesssssss!!!!” 🙂
Several people have told me something to the effect of “Great job Linds! I know you worked really hard for it.” It’s funny, because while it is certainly true, I like training so much that I don’t really think of it as “work” most of the time. Of course it feels really good to do well… to win even… but it’s not why I started doing it, and not why I continue to do it. I just really love the challenge!
So, Chris put this video together today. I feel a little nerdy sharing it, but if you care to watch, here it is…

This morning, I had a little competition with Keeta… she was talking like I was going to kick her ass in the workout, but oh no… she beat me by a solid minute! I had her on the runs, but she killed me on the handstand walk. It is much easier when you keep your hands closer and move faster… lesson learned! Good job, Keeta… thanks for the push. I’m comin’ for ya! 😉
11am: 60 min Row @80% MHR … I was having a hard time mustering energy to go 80%, so I was probably more like 70% today.
