I did my workouts kind of backward today. I was supposed to do the group workout this evening, but I coach all of the evening classes, so I did it this morning. It was a good workout. I was a little disappointed with my toes to bar. Normally, I string these things together pretty well, but I struggled. I was swinging all over the place. It was good to work out with the morning group though.

I went home to eat and shower, then came back for W.O.D. #2. I don’t have much to say about today’s workout. It was one of those days where I just had to do the work. Here she is:
5 min. SMR, mobility, dynamic
1. PT: glute/vmo
2. General Warmup: easy 1k row
3. Specific Warmup: work up to 85% deadlift (247#)
3x deadlift @ 85% (231#– went light)+ 3x jumps, 2x jump over, 4x quick hops; rest 3 min. 6x
Then: work up to Press 85% (63#)
then: 3x press @ 85% (63#) + 6x 20# med ball toss (catch with straight arms); rest 3 min. 6x
5. Supplemental: 3×10 muscle up (attempts),
300″ slosh pipe hold @ 35# (1 min. on, 30 sec. off)
6. Cool Down: easy 10 min. sled drag @ 45#
