During a recent conversation with a friend, we talked about how sport doesn’t improve one’s character, it just reveals it. If you are capable of jumping the entire distance of one of our floor mats and did so on every rep of today’s flying burpees that says a lot about your character. Conversely, if you shorted each jump while perfectly capable of completing the task, that says a lot about you as well. Which person are you?
Workout of the Day
2 Rounds for time:
50 Bounding Burpees (length = 1 floor mat)
20 Wall Balls
10 Handstand Push-ups
It’s not often that we ask you to do strict push-ups in burpees, but today was the exception. Burpees without a strict negative offer greater intensity, more work in less time, but don’t offer the opportunity to work on one’s push-up. Today I wanted to hit a nice round 100 push-ups plus some broad jumps, so we accomplished that by combining the movements in to a flying burpee.
By the way, how hard were those squats after all of that explosive jumping!?! Awesome…

Thursday’s workout is awesome. It’s almost entirely up to you as to how you load it up and finish. But that’s all I can say, for now.
