i’m still here. I know it’s been a while since writing. I miss it, but somehow this week just went by and there were nights when going to sleep was a better choice for me than staying up too late to write my blog.
With lots of change over the last few months, I have been very aware that there are more days than normal where I just need to rest, or maybe run, or do a different workout than what is planned for the day. I don’t want to be burdened by the feeling that I am failing because I am doing something different than what I am used to. However, this past week I found myself getting a little lazy and not leaving myself enough time to do my workouts… or do them as well as I would like to… with an adequate warm up and cool down, and without having to break them into multiple parts.
This week, my goal is to plan my time better so that I have enough time to do my workout well. I would like to eat a little healthier… which includes being more prepared and having good food on hand that I can eat post workout and just when I get hungry during the day (mostly at the gym). I would like to rest better. For me this means spending my free time doing things that will rejuvenate me rather than just keep me busy or distracted. Hopefully it also means I will write more.
