The difference between training and exercising is one of commitment and purpose. Training involves ignoring all of those little so-called ‘real world’ excuses to stay out of the gym: “I’m tired…” “Don’t feel like it…” “My feet hurt…”. Think those little excuses keep Erica from the gym? No way.
Workout of the Day
Every 30 seconds for 15 minutes:
1 Deadlift (135/95 lb.)
1 Power Clean (same bar)
1 Hang Squat Clean (same bar)
1 Push Press (same bar)
120 reps in total for today’s work. Nothing fancy here, a simple barbell complex that allows for adequate rest between rounds. What I was hoping for was really high quality movement, not slop. For the most part I’m satisfied with the load choices everyone made and the movement quality. Next time around I think we can scale this thing up just a tad heavier and really get some strength work out of it.
Remember, tomorrow we hit the Games Open workout which consists of burpees, overhead squats and muscle-ups. Should be a blast!

She’s thinking a trail run this time and will follow up with some details for us shortly. Dust off those running shoes and find your water belt. More details to follow.
