I did the first workout of the CF Games Open today and did 113 burpees in 7 minutes. It was definitely hard, but it felt like the time went by quickly. When I finished, I realized that I may have been thinking too much. I’m not really sure what about… maybe the reps or just about touching the bar that was 6 inches over my head. My legs were burning when I finished and I definitely went hard, but something was missing. I didn’t feel completely focused. I don’t know if I can do better, but I think I might try.

gymnastics – HSPU Ladder 1-4 5x (I missed a few reps today), then 5x Dips on the min. for 10 min. (I only went to 7 min. because I was feeling a pinch in my shoulder and thought it better just to stop).
core – Crosswalk
4. Cool Down: easy 10 min. + 3-5 hard efforts
5. Meditation/ Visualization: 20 min.

Notes (from coach… love these): Icebath today. Get lots of rest and don’t do anything stupid, you’ve been working towards this! Just do your thing and let it all out. The training is done now, all you have to do is be yourselves and give it hell!
